Everything was close to everything, our hotel was like three minutes from the station. It was only 15 minutes to the mountain village where we saw cherry blossoms and a very nice zoo for 800 yen. It was a little bit cold and we were a few days late for the best cherry blossoms, but once we got settled it was a very nice 3 day visit. If you wanna eat good food for lunch you better do it before 2:00 PM because everything closes and then reopens at 5:00 PM. Nice restaurants we're closing by 8 PM. That was kind of strange.

A place to experience snow and a different architecture from the rest of Japan. I was curious (still I am) about details in the history of this region that makes it quite different from other cities down south of Japan. The landscapes are excellent. People are polite and so kind towards foreigners/ non-japanese speakers. The overall impression made me really want to extend my stay there, or at least come back to revisit the place very soon. I am not into skiing but this should be a great place for that activity, too.

There was space behind the door to hang some clothes and put my large luggage. The bed headboard had usb charging ports. The free wifi was good. The laundry room had the washer and dryer combo, there were English instructions, and my favorite part was you can set your own pincode to lock it so no one can take out your laundry. It offers a sufficient quad room for my family. they can clean your room everyday or swap it with free tokens (like drinks) food is good, and since i go here on winter season, the Sapporo park is just beside. train station is also in front, bus to airport is just across and 24/7 food mart (like lawson & family) are nearby. tho it is not at the city center, train is just across and few minutes away

The access to the subway system is right out the front door. Numerous shops and restaurants are located underground. Nijo Fish Market is within walking distance. The Sapporo TV Tower is across the hotel and there is a Beer Garden next to the TV tower that serves dinner. The staff are very accommodating. The bathroom is small but satisfactory.
